Manufactured on Demand (MOD) studio DVDs are only licensed to use the official DVD DOWNLOAD logo. Unfortunately, this official logo creates consumer confusion. (Why is this DVD disc a Download?) I created a generic unofficial logo that would pass muster with both consumers and the industry consortium. My design was adopted (unofficially) by the industry and now graces the spines of thousands of releases!
